Kylee and Nikki bonded after realizing they share a passion for entertaining, details, decor and the same basketball team. So after numerous dinner parties, happy hours and planning sessions Down to Details was born!
Nikki Syverson
Nikki has an extensive background in event planning, marketing and public relations. As the exclusive event planner for the Des Moines Symphony she coordinates galas, cocktail parties, fundraising events and Yankee Doodle Pops — the Symphony’s Fourth of July outdoor concert that draws over 100,000 people to Iowa’s State Capitol grounds each year.
Nikki’s detail-oriented finesse lends itself perfectly to planning fantastic functions. Whether it’s a small party at her home or a grand gala, she has a knack for making sure every event is unique and every guest feels welcome. A Kansas native, Nikki holds a Public Relations degree from Drake University and is now happy to call Des Moines home.

With a passion for fresh design and a keen eye for detail, Kylee has a unique creative approach that enables her to produce distinctive events. To her, an event is a complete sensory experience and feels that success is achieved when a client becomes fully enchanted upon entering an event environment.
Kylee also exercises her design expertise at Movement, Inc, where she manages and creates a variety of branding and design media for a wide range of clients coast to coast. She has experience in many facets of design and event planning and holds a Visual Communications degree from the University of Kansas.
